1. All the building materials for your home arrive 3 days before the home goes into production | 2. All materials are stored under roof in climate controlled facilities | 3. The process begins with construction of the floor systems. 2x10 floor systems also available | 4. While the floor is being built, so are the walls and roofs. Everything is built on perfectly level, perfectly square steel jigs for accuracy |
| | | |
5. After the floor is completed the interior walls and plumbing fixtures are installed | 6. Our homes can have up to 30% more lumber and building products in them compared to "stick built" homes of the same size | 7. The exterior walls are then lifted into place after the interior is complete | 8. Scrap pieces of drywall are glued on the backside of drywall seams for additional strength and stability |
| | | |
9. After all of the interior and exterior walls are set, the roof is added and aligned using state of the art techniques and technology | 10. These homes are ENERGY STAR PARTNER homes meaning that the insulation exceeds industry minimums in most cases | 11. To reduce air infiltration, all sheathing joints are caulked making the home more energy efficient | 12. In most cases, air infiltration is standard. It can be added to any of our homes |
| | | |
13. After completion at the factory, the home is delivered on site | 14. The first half of the first floor is put into place | 15. The other half of the first floor is put into place | 16. The carriers from the delivery of the home are then stacked to be returned to the factory |
| | | |
17. The rear section of the 2nd floor is then added to the completed 1st floor | 18. Craning front second floor onto the first floors | 19. In most cases the roof is erected and the home is weather tight in one day | 20. After a few short weeks of completion work, you are ready to move in!
